Lindsay Robbins manages NRDC’s city, state, and federal buildings sector advocacy in the United States with over seventeen years of experience working to equitably decarbonize buildings to improve the lives of the people who use them. Since joining NRDC in 2015, she has worked with partners on multiple projects and initiatives to secure policies and investments that drive building decarbonization, channel resources to the communities who need them most, and make buildings healthier, safer, and more affordable. Prior to joining NRDC, she worked at the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, where she ran multi-family energy efficiency initiatives, as well as a sustainability planning and implementation programs. Robbins has also led energy assistance programs for the state of Maryland and worked for New York University’s Planning & Design office. She holds a bachelor’s degree in film and television production and a master’s degree in urban planning, both from New York University. She is based in NRDC’s New York office.
