A New Crop of American Farmers Finds Alternatives to Pesticides


The text and profiles in this online report are excerpted from NRDC's July 1998 study profiling 22 farmers from 16 states. Despite a significant number of barriers, these farmers are switching from conventional pest management to profitable alternative agricultural practices that substantially reduce pesticide use.
