Thanks to PennFuture, which reviewed Pennsylvania's public information and found:
"So far this year, the gas drillers do not have a great record of obeying environmental laws. DEP did 1161 inspections and found 2132 violations."
As PennFuture states, "....the industry needs to tighten up operations and pay more attention to working in ways that protect our water, land and surrounding communities."
