In Chicago this Sunday? Come discuss Illinois environmental concerns with Rep. Jan Schakowsky

For the past 40 years the Clean Air Act has protected Americans from harmful air pollution and saved hundreds of thousands of the lives. But this bedrock environmental law has recently come under unprecedented, breathtaking assault by an increasingly hostile Congress.

Along with other national and local environmental groups, NRDC is participating in a discussion this Sunday with Representative, Jan Schakowsky, who is a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee. As one of Rep. Schakowsky's constituents, you're invited to join us as we discuss strategies for upholding the Clean Air Act and holding polluters accountable.
