EPA’s Ongoing Outreach Shows Commitment to Strong Power Plant Carbon Pollution Limits

WASHINGTON (October 28, 2014) – David Doniger, director of the Natural Resources Defense Council’s Climate and Clean Air Program, made this comment on the Environmental Protection Agency’s supplemental notice today on its Clean Power Plan to clean up dangerous carbon pollution.

“The EPA's ongoing and unprecedented outreach illustrates its determination to get these critical public health and climate protection standards right. We'll continue pressing for the strongest carbon pollution standards to combat the threats posed by climate change.”
