NRDC: Feinstein Sounded a “Clarion Call” for Climate Action

WASHINGTON (Sept. 29, 2023) - Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-CA., has died.

Manish Bapna, president and CEO of NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council) made the following statement:

“We have lost a towering figure who blazed a broad trail for women in American politics, championed civil rights for gay couples and the LGBTQ+ community and sounded a clarion call for climate action decades before the nation would hear it. We will miss her voice, her passion and her perspective, and we are all better for the lifetime of service she led.”
